Perfect Timing

It was just a normal day. Nate kissed me goodbye as he left for work, and I mumbled a "goooodbyyyye" as he walked out the door. I layed in bed for a few minutes telling myself I had to get going. I was exhausted. I rolled myself out of the bed (yes I do literally roll out of the bed :)) & not expecting it to say anything but "not pregnant" I took a pregnancy test. I had been doing that for about 9 months now. Every month I was off a couple days... would take a test, only to be disappointed and go on with my day. I didn't expect this day to be any different.
I laid the test on the counter, and I started my shower. A few minutes later I glance down and the word caught my eye. PREGNANT.
Whaaaat??? I looked again... & there it was... I was pregnant!!!! OH MY GOODNESS... No words could ever explain that feeling... I could not believe my eyes, and sort of didn't. I was too afraid to get excited because I figured I probably did something wrong. I finished getting ready, and then remembered... I have a doctor's appointment today!
Seriously.. I had an appointment scheduled with my family doctor for my toe. (I have this very persistent ingrown nail :( ) It could not have worked out better... I didn't have to wonder if I had done the test right, haha- my doctor could tell me right away!
Needless to say, I was a little more than overjoyed, shocked, and oh so excited when my doctor looked at me last Tuesday & said, "your test was positive, you are most definitely pregnant."
Sooooo, for those of you that don't follow me on twitter or facebook or somehow have not heard yet... Nathan and I got the best Christmas gift this year- We are going to be PARENTS!!! :)
